Things are pretty great to be honest, I’m in charge of building and testing Amtrak doors, and doing vinyl wraps on doors for Chicago Trains. Definitely an interesting job.

congrats! New job can make a big difference in life.
We took the new girl out to lunch again and I hope that a week from yesterday she says that things are pretty great too.

Yeah, I was getting pretty down about job hunting and coming up with nothing, but after these first few days, I definitely enjoy it, and hope that it stays well.

It took me months to find the right next step. I’m coming up on a year at the new place now. Found a good groove and am adapting to some changes. Overall still a smart move that I enjoy.
That to say, it’s not as hands on as what you’ve described. I miss that kind of work.

Are you work8ng directly for Amtrak or as a vendor? If direct, say hi to Richard Anderson. He’s a good dude.

Nah, for a contracted company. I work for a company that makes locomotives, parts, Hvac Systems, and god knows what else.
